does Spring spring to Fall
or does Spring fall?
do you fall when you spring
or do you spring when you fall?
can you spring on springs
and not fall or do you fall?
it’s all a pun on nature
and that’s au naturel

when blue spirits frolic
in the green planet
taking over the environs
they blend, create havoc
seeping through elements
tinting all conditions
nurturing all of nature
ensuring life ever after

pink is a pretentious color
not bright or passionate or splashy like red
pink is a frivolous color
not mysterious or deep or rich like purple
pink is a playful color
not serious or intent or thoughtful like indigo
pink is a wanton color
not quiet or peaceful or calm like blue
pink is a pallid color
not vivid or living or fertile like green
pink is a deceptive color
not clear or truthful or honest like yellow
pink is a mask that people wear
a deception some like but others can’t bear

humble maid at a humble job
weary, weakened and hunched
haunched over her task
taking care all she can
taking time so spare her tired hands
a kink in the hose
the water stops flowing
but that doesn’t stop her
there’s no time for resting

twined together two totalities
twist tempting tantalizing
taut throughout temperature tormenting
tarrying teasingly torsos tangling
torrid taunting tempestuous tangoing

what’s in a kiss?
a certain kind of bliss
the answer to a wish
a reason to exist
that’s all in a kiss
there’s more to a kiss
things we usually miss
kinaesthetically intensely sexually sensual
kaleidoscopically insanely stupendously splintered
connection instigating saturnalian sensation
calm inspiring sublime serenity
things in a kiss we usually miss
that’s what makes much more to a kiss

all across the fields in summer
sunflowers raise their heads
following the sun’s unmatched splendour
challenging Horus with golden crowns glowing
filling the island with bright gleaming orbs
millions of sunrises and millions of sunsets
the short-lived sunflowers
enrobe the red land
giving short-lived summer
the seasonal upper hand

silence in the old city
looking over the blue sea
ancient white buildings
in bright sunlight shimmering
do mossy walls keep
things out or things in?
does the silence mean peace?
do the buildings give rest?
are the mossy walls sound?
is there fun in Old San Juan?

love in blue is love that’s true
love that’s deep
love that’s new
love that frees
love that soothes
love that sees
love in blue, that’s what it is

what can be better than a good lazy afternoon
reclining, relaxing, revitalizing
recalling, remembering, reminiscing
recovered, rested, restored, revived
renewed from au naturel afternoon
